Julie, from Dogs Trust came to visit us. We learnt how to behave safely around dogs, both those that we know well, and dogs that are strangers to us.
We learnt that we shouldn't disturb a dog if it is busy, eating or sleeping and we always need to ask the owner's permission before we try to pet a dog that we don't know.
Lots of us have lovely dogs as pets but we need to remember that they are dogs and don't always like the same things as us, or want the same things.
It was great fun and we enjoyed getting to cuddle the lovely soft toys she brought with her 😃
