P7M - Fighting Words

During the Autumn term P7M took part in a project called Fighting Words. This was a collaboration between 3 schools, St Mary's, Dublin, St Patrick's, Londonderry and Nettlefield. St Mary's and St Patrick's wrote the first two parts of a story, and we were given the task of completing the story.

We had to make sure that we used the characters and problem used by the other schools, while making sure the story had a good ending (and lots of local landmarks!) We all worked together in class and the illustrator sketched our ideas as we developed our story. Later eight of us were involved in recording the voices for some of the characters for the final animation.
