Mrs Cardy's class have been getting ready for Christmas!
- We took turns to decorate our inside tree
- We made our own decorations to hang on our real tree outside
- We looked at different Christmas characters then painted Santa and his elves
- We practised cutting around our paintings
- We rolled out sparkly dough and used Christmas cutters
- We created clothes for Santa and decorations out of dough
- We dressed in Christmas jumpers
- We threaded Christmas shapes to make a bracelet
- We read stories about Santa and the very First Christmas
- We looked through catalogues and made a list of toys we would like for Christmas, using the pictures
- We wrote letters to Santa and cards to our friends and family
- We posted our mail then delivered it
- We made up our own stories about Santa and shared them with our friends
- We learned some Christmas songs and sang them as we played
- We learned about farm animals
- We celebrated a birthday
We had so much fun!
