Nursery 1 Cardy investigate a real pumpkin 🎃
23rd Oct 2023
Nursery 1 Cardy had great fun investigating a real pumpkin 🎃
The children described it as being heavy, orange, a vegetable, has 2 syllables and described the inside as cold, wet, slimy, smooth and knew if they planted the seeds more pumpkins would grow above the ground.
Some liked squishing the insides between their fingers whilst others did not like the feel of it. They all liked the smell.

We drew pumpkins and enjoyed dressing up
