Latest COVID 19 Information
All Parents and Carers,
The past days and weeks have been filled with uncertainty, but we are fully committed and focused on the task of meeting the needs of our children both at school and at home.
We are incredibly thankful for the number of work packs that have been picked up by our families today and school remains open for the final collection to be lifted. The codes supplied for remote learning cannot be used by anyone else other than your child, please do not share them, keep them in a safe place.
To allow people time to come in for these packs, and the fact that Arlene Foster has announced schools will be closed from Monday, Nettlefield Primary School remains open for business. However, school will close on Friday 20th March 2020 at 12 noon for all pupils.
Children will still have the opportunity to receive lunch from the canteen and normal school life will continue until this point.
Pupils have their physical work packs to begin with and they may like to send photos of their work back to their teachers to begin to make the connections of remote learning. Easter Holidays will begin on Monday April 6th 2020 until Friday 17th April 2020. After this we will be in touch regarding future plans of school closures.
Should Nettlefield still remain closed after April 20th (which is highly likely at this stage) we will then continue with remote learning via SeeSaw as outlined today.
Thank you again for your understanding and patience in the light of difficult circumstances.
