October P6 Blog
At the start of October a man called David came in with some rainforest animals here are some of the animals that came In a cockroach , an Iguana, a Gecko, Boa Constrictor, a Carpet Python ,a Millipede, a Giant Snail and a Hornedfrog. Most of us liked the Gecko because it was tiny and it was called ice-cream and it stuck to the window!!🍦
After our rainforest visit we decided to have a rainforest themed snack with lots of different foods. We had Rainforest Challenge snack. We tried Cacoa, avocado, guacamole, mango, tropical fruits. Everybody took part in the challenge.
This month Aaron crossed the 30-point mark in accelerated reading! 📚 We are so proud of him. 😁
On the week running up to Halloween we had a themed snack. We enjoyed Ogres earwax, witches blood, spider grapes and raisins, ‘boo-nanas’, tangerine pumpkins, pumpkin pancakes, ghost toast and lots of other foods!
Choir performed in assembly for Mrs Neal leaving 😞 They performed 2 songs – can you feel the love tonight, and highland cathedral.
We won the Halloween door competitions!💪 We now have a very spooky skull in our class. We will keep it until next Halloween where we will put up a fight to win it again!
We are looking forward to a week off school and coming back ready to learn lots in the second half of term!

On the 30th September our class performed an EU British sign language assembly. We sang welcome everybody and done signs while singing. It was fun We also started our rainforests topic. We started are rainforest cover in are world around us books.
